I would be remiss if I did not share my favorite tool for dissolution of beliefs limited created by an incredible late human, Itzhak Bentov.
He was an inventor of several medical devices, author of books describing his beliefs and observations. He was a mystic, scientist and created a meditation that rocked my world. His Wikipedia page is here if you would like to enlighten yourself further on his accomplishments and tragic story ending.
There are several versions of his meditation out there on the net. I have used a version and subtly added to it to make it my own which has worked incredibly for me. I would like to share. This meditation was the one I used when my frame of mind created UberPeace. It helped bring about the book I am now working to get published. I have also written a plethora of poetry. In other words my creativity has exploded in different directions. My life, as well, has blossomed in just crazy ways desirable.
So let me get started.
The Most Important Point
So, to begin, you sit comfortably (or lie down supported) with a straight spine. Take a few mindful breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. AS many as you want. From there, the first point I must make is that thinking that the mind needs to be silenced is a fallacy. Bentov found you should use the mind as a lever. Essentially distracting the mind. To do this, you focus on all sensations of your body. Starting from your feet, you practice ascending bodily attention all the way to your crown. This is the simple act of noticing what already exists. The weight of your feet touching the ground. The pressure of the air on your shoulders. Your breath slowly entering and leaving your body, changing temperatures as it does so. All these things that is you in the present moment.
Bentov noted that while the brain is in survival mode, it filters these sensations out as they are irrelevant to the task of solving problems. The ANS (autonomic nervous system) which is what runs to keep you alive controlling blood pressure , heart rate and the like, slows. It has nothing to do since nothing has to be presently controlled besides its usual. The brain/body has been distracted. So the prefrontal cortex, that part of the brain that analyzes, judges, plans, and maintains control, begins to reduce its influence over the rest of the system.
“And in the space that opens between active thought and silence, something that remained inaccessible during the normal waking state becomes literally reachable. The subconscious not as a concept, not as a psychological metaphor, but as a real neurological structure with identifiable activation patterns that can be accessed, observed, and reorganized.”
You can literally overwrite the aberrant now which exists provided you are already aware of said flawed thought.
Beware of Too Much
It is important to note at this stage that if you start thinking about if you are ‘doing it right’ or ‘feeling the sensations enough’ or ‘whether it’s working’, the prefrontal cortex has now been reactivated and the window is now closed. Start over. The effort is now the obstacle.
Assuming you have accomplished said task, you can move on. It may take practice. That depends on you and just how much control you practice over yourself.
Next Steps
At this point, since you are at your crown, feel the top of your head open and bright, high, liquid energy flow in, immersing your whole body in this magic elixir or goodness, love and prosperity. Then feel your desire at already accomplished and past. You are now your future self enjoying your spoils of victory. You have won over your mind and reality.
Conclusion
It does take practice, but performing this as your meditation or starting one will be worth your time.
I do not live in a very quiet household, so I will listen to a pleasant audio track infused with 432 hz which is told to help you ‘connect with the Universe’.
Enjoy. And please send over your good results and how you feel after. I like to read this to know that I am helping humans and it will help others to decide whether this actually works or not.
